Author, Thinker, Storyteller
Gin Noon-Spaulding

This week we are featuring an author who has written three children's books, Gin Noon-Spaulding.

Gin Noon Spaulding is an author, teacher, speaker and also a mother who finds it a worthy cause to help families and organizations to acquire the understanding and the ability to learn and use tools of accommodation and also to find true and honest acceptance for children with issues of sensory to have the correct mechanisms  to excel regardless of their differences.  This not only include the child/children but the family and organizations.

Upon meeting Gin, I found out she not only writes and teaches but she volunteers her time to feed the hungry and homeless that is made possible with her child's charity - "Blankets of Hope by Maleah and Friends," throughout the community, and at Maleah's school and at their church.  She also likes to travel, meet and converse with new people and she loves to spend time with her family!

"The Adventures of Li-Li: Picture Perfect - Not," is one of Gin Noon-Spaulding children's book series.  Her first book, "A Miracle at Bates Memorial" is an introduction to her series of Li-Li and the different sensory issues she has.  Book two focus on sensory with visual systems.  Mrs. Gin Noon-Spaulding a former school teacher, embark on this journey of writing these series of children's books because she found the very need to work with her daughter Maleah when she was very young, noticing that her child might have some issues that need her dire attention.  She has been successful with her daughter and now has taken her experience and her daughters accomplishments to the book streets.

She just launched her third book, "The Adventures of Li-Li" book 3, "Jump-O-Ween."   Her books are Illustrated by Aranahai Iqbal.
